I created this necklace a stack of handcrafted stoneware ceramic "stones" along with a single beach stone. The rock was hand picked from a coastal beach during a recent camping trip near the Hoh Rainforest in WA state. A lush and incredibly beautiful place, naturally I was inspired. Obviously I wasn't the only one feeling a peaceful calm. We saw these stone stacks all down the length of the beach.
I chose this stone and ceramic beads for their color and shape.
Dangling below is a hand forged OM nugget charm. Created from recycled bits of fine silver. The silver nugget is torch heated till molten. Once cooled it gets hammered in to shape and then stamped with the image. There is a small 4mm Labradorite stone dangling from the Om nugget charm.
Notice the blue flash from the stone complements the blue accent color from the ceramic beads.
Strung on 36" sterling silver continuous cable chain. Because of the length of this necklace, I chose not to add a clasp but rather close the ends with a silver bead.
